It has been over 4 years since my surgery and I am still pleased with the results. I have been able to loose almost all of the weight that I wanted to and my girls still look good. They are not as high and tight as they once were so they even look more natural. The scars have faded considerably and the only thing I think I am going to do is have the tattoos redone to make them a little bigger. That would cover the circle scar around them. I have joined the group PALB2 warriors on Facebook and let people know about my blog. I do not receive any compensation for anything that I say here and wanted people to know that anything I say is just my opinion.
I will post pictures when I get the new tattoos and loose the final 10 lbs. Anyone considering this type of surgery can hopefully read this and realize that this surgery has improved so much in the 4.5 years since I had it. Many thoughts and prayers to everyone going through the process of deciding what to do with their positive PALB2 diagnosis.
