We have been busy the past 2 days and I can feel it. I always start the day with such energy and by the end I am exhausted. My daughter and grandson leave tomorrow. I will miss them both so much. It was hard not being able to pick him up, but he weighs 35 lbs and my limit is 10 lbs. Hopefully when I see him in Dec. I will be able to pick him up.
I just love the holidays, family means so much to me and we were able to see almost all of my family, Brothers, sisters, niece’s and nephews, and my children. Life is so wonderful.
I will be starting to walk on the treadmill again tomorrow and really trying to get all of my strength back.
As for recovery, I am doing great. I still have no real pain and even though I have a lot of swelling in my new breasts they are still a lot smaller than the old ones. I am so pleased with the results. Except for the wound and the care that goes into taking care of it, I have no complaints at all about the surgery. It was such a great decision for me to have this surgery and I do hope that this blog does help someone else trying to make this decision. The thought of getting cancer does not even cross my mind anymore, which is such a relief.
I am posting quite a few pictures of my healing this time and the wound does look bad but compared to how it has looked there is improvement. Have a good evening everyone.
